Sure was sorry to hear that Artie Traum passed away this past Sunday, July 20. Great guitarist and brother of Happy Traum. Wrote Fishscale (among many other tunes), the great tune on the Tony Rice John Carlini cd River Suite For Two Guitars. Wish I could have seen him live.

Saw your message header and was shocked. Had to google it to see what happened. Only 65....very sad.
I have several of his instructional videos and always thought they were pretty good.

The whole Homespun family of instructional tapes, CD's, and DVD's has been a very key element in what musical progress I've made. The Traums are great folks, and Artie will be greatly missed.

I saw him at a Taylor clinic here in town about a year or two ago. Very entertaining, and a fine musician.
