Here is a copy of the text from Gina, Tommy's manager:
quote:Dear Fans,
Tommy's small Maton guitar was just stolen from the venue in Amsterdam, Holland. It was in a black Broadway Sound zip bag and it is all beat up with writing all over it.
If you have any friends in Holland, please put the word out to them or if you're a member of any other guitar lists, EBay, etc, please mention that recovery of this guitar will result in a substantial reward. The reward would be worth far more than the guitar which, to the untrained eye, would seem like a little known brand, beat up guitar.
If you have any knowledge of the whereabouts of this guitar, please contact me immediately at management@tommyemmanuel.com.
Do not reply to this e-mail.
Thank you for your assistance, and let's hope we find it.
Regards, GINA

From Tommy's site: The "Mouse" is back ! She is well and in good condition !
At 3:45 GMT+1 Linda, from the Irish-Pub "The Globe" called and handed the guitar back to TE ! Thank you Linda ! And thanks to everybody on earth and in heaven for helping !
Tommy says "Thank you mates" to all his fans for their loyalty !
PS: If you seen him live, you will know that the bare patch behind the bridge is where he scrapes it with his fingernails to get percussive sounds from the song initiation. He also uses a drummers brush in the same way.
