Thank Ace for doing the interview & Ed for posting it on here.

I like his 2 collings stories, esp the OM-1A. Didn't know that Bill & companys are such humourous fellows. Doesn't see them stuff some bubble wraps on my new OM recently. Big Grin

I presume that's a Collings he covers the peghead with his hands?

LJ mentions he used his one other guitar on his new album. Which one is it? The Martin magadascar or his fav OM-1?

I wonder LJ will continue to use his Martin signatures right after the endorsement deal is over?

Tomcat,

The guitar in the pic is his Martin Signature OM, thats why he covered up the peghead! But the one guitar he used in his latest album was his favourite Collings OM1 Cutaway.

He used his Martin, the Madagascar exclusively on this new album..

Ace: Does your new CD indicate which guitar you played on each song?

LJ: On my latest CD, the new one coming out which is “I’ve Got the World on Six Strings”, I just used this one guitar. It’s just happened to be right.

you can also read about that here..

Fingerstyl,

I read the interview again. Seem you are rite!. Think its not quite clearly explained in the interview. He was describing his Madagascar & on the other hand about he also love his old OM-1 that he used it on one song in the "One Wing" album. Well, the LJ forum clearly cfmd the Madagascar is used on the new CD.
