There are at least 100 who deserve to be in the Top 10 (What'd he say?) but how about Lenny
Breau? I'd put him a notch or two above Slash.

How seriously can one take a such a top 10 list that doesn't include either Mark Knopfler or The Edge? I mean, let's get real.

Nope, no Zappa. I could come up with a different list every week, but what about SRV, Chet Atkins, John Mclaughin, Wes Montgomery
Jeff Beck and Joe Satriani. Slash? I don't know. Malmsteen, he plays so fast I can't listen to it. The kids at
Time need to read their history books.

I think David Gilmour has to be in there... as well as a mention for Jeff Beck... too many to count, but those two popped up right away... at least for me.

In addition to +1 for J. Beck, C. Christian and L. Breau, McLaughlin, Montgomery, Atkins etc., to have mentioned BB King but not T-Bone Walker is questionable at best.

Yngwie but not George Benson?

Keith Richards but not Muddy Waters??

Not having read the article but surveying the list, one wonders what the parameters must have been.
