What a strange pairing. Things can really change . . .

It doesn't surprise me that one of the richest men in the world would choose to own the best, and most expensive luggage in the world. I bet he also owns some of the most expensive guitars in the world. Smile
This pic reminds of an interview I read where Keith described how they recorded some of the basic tracks to Sympathy for the Devil on Beggars Banquet (one of my top ten Desert Island, mostly acoustic records) in a hotel room with Charlie Watts playing a practice drum kit that folded out of a suitcase. A testimony to their engineer Glyn Johns and a good analog recording. The drums sound huge.

Most expensive luggage? Maybe, or at least close. Best? Lots of differing opinions on that issue . . . The guitar in the photo is a real beauty, although not nearly as valuable as the suitcase on the bed.

Do you think Charlie Watts drums folded out of a Louis Vuitton suitcase? Wink

That Keith is a real Devil . . . Smile

There's very good original film footage of the Stones working out the parts and recording Sympathy for the Devil in the studio here: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=5JQHA7H8l2w

Thanks for the link.

I'm sure I bought into the hype on "best, and most expensive". No doubt there are hand made grips out of the alleys of NYC, London, Paris, etc. that I am not aware of. Kinda like fine guitars.

I learned many a lick from that Devil. Wink
