OK, it's weird and it's not weird. I like it! This is a new basement recording of a tune by my music partner and bass player Carl Walker. I guess this is what can happen when 2 white guys from the midwest try hiphop rhythms. We had more fun doing this stuff, and Carl's fabulous bassline pulls it all together. We used acoustic and electric guitar with digital drums and some unusual percussion stuff, like breathing as a drum and the bottom of a coffee can as a cowbell. There is a harmonics solo on 2 acoustic guitars in the middle of the sort of heavy hiphop tune. Now, don't think of hiphop like rappers do. We have a heavy hiphop in the drums, but the tune is not much like any hiphop you've heard on the rap stations. I hope you enjoy!
